We are the craftsmen working for Stiftelsen Bryggen (The Bryggen Foundation) which owns half of the buildings on the UNESCO world heritage site Bryggen. Our goal is to preserve the buildings and preserve the craftmanship we need to master to do the work according to the strict guidlines we have. (The Venice Charter)
With this blog we want to show the versatility of the work we do, be it making a plane based on an old molding we need to recreate, or inserting modern insulation to make the buildings more usable for modern shops and offices.
The blog is in Norwegian, but we recon that the pictures will tell more than words.
